Almost every child at some time dreams to be on stage or in film. Russian International Theatre School (RITS) was created to turn that dream into a reality for young Russian speaking children in London.
Our purpose is to create an atmosphere of mutual trust in a world of imagination, poetry and romanticism—a world that is common to both theatre and children alike.
We aim to encourage cognitive interest in young people; to develop their awareness of native and world culture and to help them express their talent and individuality, which in turn will help them believe in themselves.
We teach compassion and sympathy and we create the conditions that will give children a deeper understanding of people and life.
The tutors at RITS are actors, directors, choreographers and musicians. They are motivated by the desire to introduce children to the wonderful world of theatre and the performing arts.
Our theatre school is collective creativity. Both students and teachers are part of the creative process and, through their ingenuity, both feel satisfaction at seeing what they have achieved.
We hope that you enjoy our site, and do not hesitate to contact us if you wish to know more.
